Shipping
We only ship to USA locations. Dahlia tubers are sensitive to cold temperatures and will not tolerate a frost. Orders placed during the winter will most likely not ship until mid April – May or until a window of overnight low temps are above freezing throughout the shipping locations.
Shipping is currently $14, flat rate, with the exception of a bulk dahlia order, which increases your shipping to $16 flat rate for a max shipping amount.
Free local pick-up available. Please make sure you are located near Dimondale, Michigan or have made prior arrangements with me for an exchange location.
Combined shipping
I will be happy to combine your orders if you place multiple orders as long as the first orders have not shipped. Please contact me with your order numbers and details. If you placed an order with shipping and would like to add to your order that has not already shipped please select local pick-up so you are not charged shipping twice. If you select local pickup and your original order has no shipping attached this will be added to your order.
Tuber Expectations
All dahlia tubers are grown, hand dug, and divided by our small farm in Michigan. We take all care to divide tubers with at least one visible eye. Dahlia tubers come in various shapes and sizes and as long as they have at least one eye, neck, and body, they will grow into a dahlia plant just like it’s mother.
Your dahlia tuber may arrive dormate still and will not have an active sprout. This is normal and once they are acclimated to warmer temps they will start to wake up. We take all care to make sure their is a visible eye during dividing and shipping. They are evaluated multiple times before they leave our farm.
Refund Policy
Please look over your Dahlia tubers immediately once they arrive. An email must be inquired within 7 days of receipt of the dahlia tuber(s). If you feel there is a problem with a tuber, please contact me at [email protected]
Helpful items to include in the email for fast resolution would include:
- Order number(s).
- Clear photo(s) of the area in concern.
- Description of your concern.
In the case of unsatisfactory dahlia tubers by both parties a refund will be issued. Though we will try our best to replace your dahlia tuber, this is not always possible.
Once the 7 day window has passed, we consider you satisfied with your purchase.
