Daffodil – Cum Laude

This daffodil is a split corona daffodil.  The center is supposed to be a peachy salmon color, but they are reading more yellowy

Daffodil emit a toxic sap when cut and can cause issues when designing with other flowers.  For best practice avoid cutting and arranging stems immediately.  Rather cut stems and let rest together in a vase alone for a minimum of 2 hours before designing.  I have also had success with designs when I cut stems right into arrangements, but making sure to switch our water a few hours after placing in the vase with other flower types, such as in bridal bouquets and centerpieces.
